Right up front this is an appeal for money.
In order to secure a loan modification on my mortgage SO THAT I CAN HOLD ONTO KATHLEEN'S BARN & LAND,
I must generate $21,000 in 4 weeks, by the end of July.
Throughout my life, it has been my passion and purpose to create spaces where people feel free to be their true selves.
I have accomplished that mission here @ 33 Broadway, Tivoli, NY. I need help now to continue that mission.
Over $5,000 has been raised already!
I have been in negotiation with my bank for two years, aided by the compassionate and savvy legal counsel of Hudson Valley Hope. The line has been drawn in the sand.
Thus I am writing now.
Suffice it to say, as my friend Karen Holtslag offered, "The wolf is at the door, breathing heavy at the key hole."
Over my fifteen years here, I have brought 33 Broadway to a place of grace, functionality and community endeavor.
Thousands of people have traveled through for the hospitality, healing, sanctuary, myriad of performances, celebrations and wild, wonderful times which my property has hosted. This land is an essential and important place where my pastoral ministry has been expressed. |
